Youth and Cybercrime: Awareness and Prevention Introduction The Seminar Series for Youth on Legal Literacy, Safety, and Social Justice officially commenced on September 30, 2025 , with its first session entitled “Youth and Cybercrime: Awareness and Prevention.” The event was organized by the Office of Student Welfare and Services , in collaboration with COMMSOC, IMAGES, and SPECS . The session featured PSSG Princess Rowie D. Garcia from the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group as the resource speaker. This seminar was particularly timely and relevant, as today’s youth spend much of their time online for learning, communication, and entertainment. The discussion highlighted both the opportunities and risks of the digital age, and provided participants with legal knowledge and practical tools to protect themselves in cyberspace.
