In today’s digital world, cybersecurity has become more important than ever. As technology continues to evolve, cyber threats also become more advanced, making it necessary for organizations and individuals to strengthen their digital security practices. At the same time, Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming different industries—including cybersecurity.

As a Computer Science student who is interested in technology and cybersecurity, I decided to take the “ChatGPT for Cybersecurity” course offered through the Simplilearn SkillUp platform. What I initially thought would be a simple introduction to AI turned into an eye-opening learning experience about how Artificial Intelligence can support cybersecurity operations, improve efficiency, and help organizations respond to digital threats more effectively.


Exploring the Role of AI in Cybersecurity

Before taking the course, I mainly viewed ChatGPT as an AI assistant used for answering questions, generating content, and improving productivity. However, the lessons introduced me to a much broader perspective on how AI can contribute to cybersecurity.
